The Blue Tansy belongs to the daisy family and is a perennial herb found in Morocco, Portugal, and Spain. The oil is generated by distilling the flowers of Blue Tansy by steam. In ancient times, the Blue Tansy essential oil was used for spiritual practices. It has a beautifully sweet, fruity aroma with woody undertones. Due to small crops, this oil is expensive and hard to get hands-on. People generally confuse blue tansy with tansy; these both plants are related but they differ in color, benefits, and uses.
